The Professional Copywriters Network approached Studio Kidd to help them to rebrand with a more, well, professional look.
The website had been started a number of years before and had done fairly well but had stagnated a little. A new owner was the catalyst for change.
We worked together to write a brand strategy document that encapsulated the business goals, brand values and perceptions as a solid base for the brand refresh.
The previous logo was the organisation’s name written out in full in blue and orange. We suggested that they shorten the name to ProCopywriters (which matched the siteURL – procopywriters.co.uk)
We worked from the values to create a symbol, word mark, logo lockup, typography and colour palette and some visuals for a website and stationery. Our friend, and collaborator excellent designer Dean Hayden went on to design the final website (we were too busy). We included some badges which members can add to their own websites, business cards etc.
The overall look captured the essence of what we agreed in the brand strategy and has had great feedback from ProCopywriters and their members.
